ABC's Nightline goes inside Foxconn's Apple factory (video)

Nightline's Bill Weir handled to obtain his ft inside manufacturing behemoth Foxconn: the infamous plant where iPads, Xboxes and Kindles are built. Following multiple explosions and worker suicides, the factory has been looked over through the Fair Labor Association to look at working conditions uncovered through the efforts of journalists like Liu Zhiyi. Within the show, we learn that on a serene day, 3,000 prospective employees will linger outdoors the factory with the hope of generating just $1.78 an hour or so. Weir themself handles to coax the concession from company consultant Louis Woo the multiple tragedies were a belated catalyst for alternation in the business's working conditions.
