The top plastic guns now sport a slot for the iDevice which, when packed with the Lazer Tag application, gives you an augmented HUD view. The application displays your gear and energy level, increase how well you're progressing on the global Lazer Tag leaderboard. While you play, new attacks and gear is going to be unlocked that you should increase your gaming experience. The application may even really show your blasts' trajectory, allowing you to see wherever you shot your former friend. The 2012 edition of Lazer Tag will hit shelves on August first with individual blasters costing $40 and teams of two $70.
