Twitter's Android and iOS application get updates on Amazon Kindle Fire now, Nook soon

The state Twitter application just received an update on iOS and Android, getting additional features to both platforms, along with an "enhanced" Frozen Treats Sandwich experience as seen above. The application can also be presently on Amazon's Appstore for that Amazon Kindle Fire now, and the organization states it'll appear within the Barnes &lifier Noble Nook Store Feb 23rd. For Android and IOS the application has cut back / added a swipe gesture to resolve, reweet or favorite something without departing your timeline, along with a notification around the Find Buddies feature that it'll be uploading their address book to Twitter's server -- a welcome change following the Path fiasco. The iOS-specific changes would be the return of copy, more choices to share or save links in tweets, a mark all read for DMs and configurable font dimensions. Even though it is enhanced for ICS, on our CyanogenMod 9 tablet, design still looked similar to the Gingerbread version rather than the iPad's more potent layout. Hit the origin links below to check it out yourself and tell us whether it's beating your favorite mobile application yet.
