Twitter changes fonts, ?Who to follow along with? and more

It began with some slight changes towards the width from the detail panel in New Twitter, but digging much deeper we ve found another changes too. Here s a rundown from the something totally new that people ve spotted today. Perhaps you have seen them yet

Thinner Particulars Pane

In New Twitter, the best side has become a little thinner, offering a little more property towards the primary tweets versus the context information.

More compact Fonts

What s notable, though, is the fact that there s a positive change in the way the fonts appear. For OS X customers, they re still quite legible and clean. Home windows customers, regrettably, see something quite different.

As you can tell, the font of preference isn t as nicely made because it is in OS X.

Who To Follow Along With

The Who to follow along with feature now works a little different, too. Rather than just showing you individuals who may want to follow depending on whom you already do, it now shows accounts which are then individuals who you follow:

Direct Messages

Indeed, an additional little tweak for the Friday Twitter periods the DM button has transformed. Rather than being called Message , this is now a contact-like icon:
