Remember how Facebook with Skype integration would be "Something Awesome" Well, it is something okay a large-open mystery for your computer.
The vulnerability appeared after David Vieira-Kurz published the evidence of concept video above towards the Secalert website. Apparently, he'd "found a couple of security issues which causes it to be possible to hijack a Skype Session and compromise a user's system because of an absence output sanitization." The victim need not be on either the attacker's Facebook buddies list or Skype contact list for that exploit to operate. Based on ZDNet, the flaw continues to be individually verified (though particulars regarding the way the hack really work remain scarce) but neither Skype nor Facebook has yet confirmed the findings.
