For male Houbara bustards, extravagant sexual shows include a cost: rapid sexual aging. By studying over 1,700 North African Houbara bustards, scientists in France have discovered the wild birds, by age six, already begin creating more compact ejaculate's with a lot of dead and abnormal sperm. The greater flashy the bustard, the faster he burns themself out. As lead investigator John Preston stated inside a prepared statement:

This is actually the bird same as the posers who strut their stuff in bars and nightclubs every weekend. When the bustard is anything to put into practice, the men is going to be grabbing their toupees earlier than they d like.
