Party Hats, Everybody! Instagram Hits 150 Million Photo Uploads

Instagram, the most popular photo discussing service for that apple iphone, just introduced it's hit 150 million photo uploads thanks in no small part to its users list of seven million picture snappers. For perspective, that's about 15 photos being submitted each and every second.

Per the business's official blog:

"We are constantly astonished by the plethora of photos shared on Instagram. People use Instagram to snap photos every day moments with buddies and family also to document significant personal moments, like wedding ceremonies and honeymoons. You will find Instagram photos from major occasions such as the World Series and also the Grammys, plus some Instagram photos have even made the nation's news. Artists and celebs have started to provide fans a distinctive consider their lives through photos, while brands like Burberry have began to understand the energy of interacting using their fans through images."

The service has experienced enormous growth because it released within the Application Store just last October. The application is constantly in Apple's Top 25 "Free Applications" (presently it sits pretty at number 18), and appears poised to amass much more mobile photography enthusiasts.

But 150 million photo uploads is a nice monumental achievement, and champagne is definitely so as, though we are confident Attacking Young Boys accounts for about 100 million of these. Maybe 125 million.
