Author stalks home with iZON spy kit

We covered the launch news from the iZON Remote Room Monitor from Stem Innovation on Monday. Now, I've my on the job a real unit. We'll find out if it's as simple to use as guaranteed.

Here is a quick refresher. The iZON combines a camera by having an iOS application to maintain audio and video an eye on an area.

I set the iZON up during my family room where an unknown feline suspect continues to be hammering the couch. Coping with the hardware is straightforward and also the energy cord was lengthy enough to achieve up from the bookcase where I placed your camera.

The next phase involved installing the free Stem:Connect application to my iPad and following a setup instructions to hook the iZON track of home wireless network. Easy-peasy.

The $129.95 iZON is not likely to amaze you rich in-quality video and audio, however it will get the task accomplished for simple security reasons or checking in in your home while you are away.

I've not yet determined which of three potential cat suspects is harmful my furniture. They have been asleep all day long. With my iZON motion detector alert switched on, I really hope to soon apprehend the small vandal.
