PIGORASS quadruped robot moves just like a strange puppy

PIGORASS
How frequently would you visit a robot that you simply really wish to lift track of your arms and hug just like a puppy Very few, but this quadruped robot from Japan might convince you. To become shown at IROS 2011 later this month, the PIGORASS was created in the Graduate School of knowledge Science &lifier Technology, The College of Tokyo, japan, Japan.

Produced by roboticists which had formerly produced jumping and running robots, they've made the decision to produce a robot that utilizes an exterior air compressor, pressure sensors and potentiometers to duplicate how real muscles work. The end result A quadruped robot that may walk, gallop and move about just like a strange little puppy. Granted, it ll be sometime more before we obtain robots that may move about with muscles much like real creatures and people, however it appears like we re on course.
