So there s this artist in Ukraine who lately outed an unusual S&M mask/headgear that borrows in the facehugger aesthete. Several blogger has opined it s an appropriate kind of tribute to H.R. Giger, who conceptualized the initial xenomorphs. Ah, H.R. Giger. The guy s a national treasure.
Obviously, a smidgen of artistic license performed in this mask s creation. Note the facehugger is on the rear of the mind and never, well, around the face. Still it looks good though.
Since he s in internet marketing, creator Bob Basset should perform a whole type of clothing in line with the Aliens saga. You never know, it could reach a runway. Somewhere. Wait, after checking his site, he is doing indeed turn out each one of these steam punk gas masks and medieval apparel. An expert tailor is he, it appears. Once they ever perform a Fallout live action adaptation, he must do costumes for that world s benefit.
This lovely bit of headgear also brings another villainous creature in your thoughts. Less creature, but super evil superhuman, namely Bane in the Batman canon. The Ann Hathaway undertake the legendary archenemesis is much more minimalist and a significant departure in the comic.
This facehugger mask, however, looks Bane-appropriate. Just add individuals crimson patches within the eyes along with a skullface. There s a tube (really the facehugger s tail) to provide the superhuman fluid.
