Ankylosaur attack! Bad Astronomy

After I would be a kid, I had been so into dinosaurs which i thought about being a paleontologist. Eventually, astronomy won out, however it was touch-and-visit for some time (my compromise: study giant impacts that destroyed the dinosaurs).

After I was that age, my father accustomed to make tape tracks and send these phones relatives rather than written letters, to ensure that family people could hear the voices from the kids. I recall quite particularly eventually selecting a description concerning the ankylosaur in my opinion from the "letter". I spoken about its put tail, and just how it used that weapon to battle ravenous carnivores.

So when I had been 5 I'd ve loved to possess were built with a book like my pal Daniel Loxton s new work, Ankylosaur Attack. This is an excellent, lavishly-highlighted hardcover for children concerning the day within the existence of the youthful dinosaur: feeding, watching pterosaurs, meeting track of other ankylosaurs, after which, obviously, the T. Rex attack!

Daniel is definitely an artist, therefore the book is highlighted with amazing photo-realistic images from the animals, that we m sure can get any dinosaur-enthusiast kid s heart moving. The storyline itself is dependant on current thinking in paleontological circles about dinosaur behavior, also it presents dinosaurs less giant monsters but as occupants of the identical world by which we live, just long ago previously.

Daniel s last book, Evolution For Children, was fantastic, and so i m not surprised that one is really good, too.

This is on Amazon . com.com obviously, and will make an excellent gift for the holiday season approaching. Thanksgiving is really a traditional family get-together time in america, and so i m sure you will find kids who would like to obtain a copy of the and browse it using the grandma and grandpa. Only a hint there.

You are able to follow Daniel on Twitter, or read his articles on SkepticBlog (where he s written a couple of by what went into making it).
