I wasn't expecting much in the Hifiman Express HM-101 it is simply a $39 outboard USB digital-to-analog ripper tools and earphone amplifier. Well, this small USB-powered (it does not need batteries or perhaps an AC energy supply) device certainly pumped in the seem of my Audio Technica ATH-M50 earphones!
