Thin Lizzy: Cowboy Song/Boys Are In Town [Video]

Thin Lizzy: Cowboy Song/Boys Are Back In Town This Sunday's Giz soundtrack is indeed a classic: Thin Lizzy's performance of Cowboy Song merging into The Boys Are In Town in the Sydney Opera House.

Shot in 1978, this concert has Phil Lynott towards the top of his game, with Gary Moore kicking some serious guitar ass.

If only I possibly could have experienced them in older days, before Lynott died in 1986 carrying out a very long time of alcohol and drugs abuse. Rather I must listen (frequently) to Live and Harmful, a double LP that unexpectedly happens to be among the best live rock albums ever. Among my top from the 70s. Launched in 1978, it had been created through the legendary Tony Visconti, David Bowie's producer for many a part of his career. It's some overdubbing in some places, but it is for top. If you want classic rock and you do not have this, you have to have it.

After two days on the highway travelling with the endless ocean of mountain tops, forests and deserts of California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah it appeared just like a good comeback soundtrack. Although, after i pay attention to this, all I wish to do would be to put my cowboy hat and boots back on, enter into the vehicle and drive completely to obtain lost somewhere in Montana or Wyoming.
