Last Wednesday Apple held a business-wide memorial because of its late co-founder Jobs where COO Tim Prepare, former V . P . and Apple board member Al Gore, and Jonny Ive, Apple s mind of design, all spoke. It had been a moving celebration, I m told now the organization made the decision to talk about it using the world, posting a relevant video recording from the event towards the Apple.com Site. Certainly worth a wrist watch for anybody thinking about Jobs, his legacy and the breadth of vision so gracefully referred to by Ive in the memorial speech.
Steve accustomed to tell me hey Jonny, here s a dopey idea, Ive remembered. And often these were. Sometimes these were truly dreadful. But sometimes they required the environment in the room plus they left us both completely quiet. Bold, crazy, magnificent ideas or quieter ones, which within their simplicity were absolutely profound.
