Amazon's Kindle Fire is not the only real $200 tablet around. Lenovo's IdeaPad A1, a 7-inch Android slab, expires for pre-order, beginning at $199. Lenovo needs these budget pills to ship on October 27.
The IdeaPad A1 runs Android 2.3 and it has single GHz processor, 512 Megabytes of RAM, front- and rear-facing cameras along with a 1024-by-600 display. The $199 model includes 2 GB of built-kept in storage, along with a sd card slot, and $50 more will enable you to get 16 GB of storage rather.

Spec-smart, it's worse than Amazon's dual-core tablet. I am speculating it will not be as smooth because the Kindle Fire, also it will not have Amazon's huge digital store and super-simple interface built-in. However it includes use of the Android Market and Google services with no tinkering around the user's finish. That alone makes Lenovo's tablet an intriguing selection for bargain-hunting Android customers.
Although Lenovo lists the IdeaPad A1's $199 cost like a "purchase," I wouldn't worry an excessive amount of about this. Prices for Android pills are heading down, not up, and Lenovo would not pull off selling this tablet because of its $349 list cost. When the IdeaPad A1 piques your interest, but you'd like to hold back until it's really shipping, I am sure it'll still cost $199 because the holidays draw near.
