No new Xbox 360 360 announcement...yet, but it is rumored that the couple of designers happen to be shifting game development to Microsoft's next console.
A blurb in Xbox 360 World magazine's "Insider" section is spurring conversation that several "Microsoft-friendly designers are working hard on preparing next gen games these days.Inch
Designers include Remedy, Lionhead and Turn 10. Remedy is rumored to possess moved growth and development of Alan Wake 2 to another Xbox 360. Meanwhile, Lionhead, the studio accountable for the Fable series and Turn 10 because of its Forza Motorsport driving simulation games are generally busy with current Xbox 360 360 games Fable 4 and Forza 4.
Microsoft may still be keeping things tight-lipped for the time being, but things could change the coming year. You will find whispers that it's going to show a minimum of some type of new Xbox 360 at next year's E3.
It is common practice for designers to begin focus on next-gen games years in front of official console releases, therefore if Remedy, Lionhead and Turn 10 happen to be hitting their lips at new hardware, it isn't really surprising.
If the generation's games take years to build up and polish, it's possible to only imagine what next-gen's likely to require, particularly if games look remotely near to matching Epic's up-to-date Unreal Engine 3.
