File this under things we could've sworn happened already: Dell is upgrading its nine-month-old XPS 13 Ultrabook with third-generation Core (read: Ivy Bridge) processors. In addition, consistent with other trends sweeping laptop computer industry, Dell presenting the 13 by having an optional touch screen -- you realize, to really make it a bit more Home windows 8-friendly. As the relaxation from the company's Win 8 selection is not shipping until October 26th now, the rejuvenated XPS 13 should be survive Dell's site, with similar beginning cost of $1,000.
