A launch event invitation has provided us with a peek at the ASUS PadFone 2, but Bloomberg TV India swept up using the firm's Boss Jerry Shen and snagged a relevant video tour from the device before its October 16th reveal. The 2nd iteration from the PadFone packs a 4.7-inch HD (most probably 720p) screen and 13-megapixel camera, which jives with specs on allegedly leaked packaging. Instead of needing to fuss having a cover flap to slip the smartphone into its tablet spend, customers will have the ability to pier the unit directly into a lighter and thinner slate component. Other particulars are scarce, but we are certain to discover more once the curtain is ceremoniously drawn back next Tuesday. Meanwhile, you are able to forge beyond the break to determine footage from the hybrid beginning in the 1:40 mark.
Update: The ever-prolific evleaks just tweeted out a glamour shot from the PadFone 2 and it is associated tablet pier.
Update 2: Evleaks has tweeted additional pictures which we have collected within the gallery below for the search.
