Panasonic Japan introduced [JP] a unique Lumix camera yesterday, the LUMIX DMC-FP7D (in which the D means Disney). Unlike a number of other cute exclusive edition cameras from Japan, the look about this model is quite subtle.
Technically, the Disney camera is dependant on the LUMIX DMC-FP7, a place-and-shoot device having a 16MP CCD sensor, Motion JPEG video recording at 1,280720/24fps, an impression control UI, along with a 3.5-inch TFT display.
Panasonic also throws in Micky Mouse on/off screens, symbols, and picture frames.
The Lumix Disney camera is scheduled hitting Japan on June 10 (for around $370). Request specialized online retailers like Rinkya or Flutterscape if you would like one but do not reside in Japan.
