Found across the sidelines of Panasonic's CEATEC booth, the AX series Ultrabook is really a collapsible hybrid that'll be coming in Japanese stores later this month. Prepared to launch with Home windows 8 (both standard or Professional) built-in, the Ultrabook houses a 11.6-inch touch display in the ever-popular 1,366 x 768 resolution, even though it feels just a little around the thick side, and it is unmistakably Panasonic in the styling. Connectivity choices are legion, with two USB 3. ports around the right edge, supported by High-definition multimedia interface socket. On the other hand, we have an Sdcard readers, ethernet, energy, mic and earphone ports. The hinge appears superbly solid, even though that touch screen is not the best looking we have seen on Home windows 8 hardware, the laptop keyboard felt pretty much like existing business laptops and our tips of the fingers had lots of space. Otherwise, i was left to experience having a Japanese iteration of Home windows 8, which appeared nice responsive both in tablet and notebook configurations, although our play was limited.
The AX series will launch in Japan on October 26th in three different permutations, beginning by having an Apple Core i5 processor which is 1.7GHz or 1.8GHz, along with a Core i7 at 1.9GHz. There's 4GB of memory along with a 128GB SDD in most three, as the hybrid dollars the popularity by providing a detachable battery, with both faster Core i5 and also the Core i7 models coming by having an extra cell bundled up in.
